Never intended for release, Darius created the original with a profoundly personal intention – to commemorate the passing of Ben Beynon, brother to his close friends Paul, Caroline and Melanie. Putting sound to a sadness for which there are no words; it expresses the loss, and the mending of a heart broken. Artists are the true keepers of time, and their work allows an experience that can help us to forget, and more importantly, to remember. This sentiment is the very essence of these tunes. Each artist shares a personal connection to this music and has presented their interpretation without compromise. This is for all those who have shown love, shared pain, held hands and looked up on a dance floor, friends and strangers alike. We thank all of you.
